Our US-based client, a premier multiline claims services provider, is looking for Philippine-licensed RNs to be part of their initial team at their first Philippine-based Metro Manila site. The role is responsible for triaging workers' compensation claims prior to assignment to a US-based Case Manager to promote quality medical care promptly and cost-effectively.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Facilitate written communication with the injured worker to gather pertinent medical information such as but not limited to, the extent of patient injury, treatment plan, etc. Communication with injured workers would be done extensively over text messages, and should be comfortable and efficient in handling multiple text chat sessions at the same time. Coordinate with the on-shore Case Manager once all medical criteria have been met. Accurate documentation and patient file management Reviewing patient's progress as needed Will work on multi-system with the evolving scope of responsibilities over time. Provide support to the assigned Case Manager as needed Attend training/educational classes as appropriate. Coordinate activities in the supervisor's absence, where applicable. Strive to achieve departmental standards and objectives. Perform other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary and assigned. Qualifications: An active and unrestricted Philippine RN License At least 2 years of clinical or related work experience Experience with Case Triage and Worker's Compensation preferred Good leadership qualities with the potential to train future colleagues in the department. Motivated and assertive in finding better and more efficient processes as part of the continuous improvement of the department. Critical thinker and good problem solver Good patient care skills Excellent verbal and written communication Proficiency in MS Word and Excel and general computer literacy, working with dual screens. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and time management skills are also required. Able to report onsite *Salary stated is in annual compensation ranging from P35,000 - P48,000.
