GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for leading and defining the test strategy for a project while working on continuous quality improvements. Leads the team and ensures quality assurance standards across projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Defines the appropriate project Test Strategy and Test Plan.
? Participates in reviewing the business user and product requirements, and application design to ensure
testability of the product.
? Tracks and reports testing activities, including testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects
discovered and their status reports, performance baselines, and others.
? Ensures content and structure of all testing documents are documented and maintained.
? Issues SQA Certificate to signify or prove that the application is in accordance to set exit criteria.
? Performs Test Strategy and Test Cases Review.
? Handles and manages SQA deliverable and repositories.
? Provides an accurate status report to the project manager.
? Participates in SQA Task Estimation and Risk Analysis on Technical/Project Proposals.
? Reviews the quality of the team deliverables and ensures team tasks are completed on time.
? Formulates and manages initiatives to increase the skills, quality & efficiency of the team.
? Participate in process standardization and/or improvement on SQA related tasks.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
? Education – At least graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or any related
course.
? Related Work Experience –experience as a Quality Assurance Lead.
? Experience in SDLC in Agile specific to Scrum Framework
? Extensive experience in Test Design, Test Cases Creation and Analysis.
? Extensive experience in Manual (black box, white box, etc.) and Automated testing (Selenium Web
driver, Test Complete, or desired tools) is preferred.
? Extensive experience in defect reporting and monitoring.
? Experience in handling a QA team/s
? Knowledge – In-depth knowledge in the following:
? At least foundational level of ISTQB certification (ISTQB Advanced Certification is a plus)
? Knowledge in Agile Methodologies.
? Scrum framework and quality assurance practices (ISTQB standards)
? Skills:
? Must have strong leadership skills and the ability to supervise and handle a team
? Must have strong analytical skills, highly detailed and process-oriented.
? Must have strong communication and presentation skills
