Position Title: VP, HR Business Partner - Philippines Country Leader Role Overview The VP, HR Business Partner for the Philippines Country Leader is a key role responsible for driving HR strategies, policies, and initiatives within the organizations operations in the Philippines. This position involves providing strategic and tactical HR leadership to support a workforce of over 4000 employees. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of Philippine labor laws, culture, and business environment, and a proven ability to design and implement HR programs that align with business objectives.
This role offers flexibility to work from any of the office or virtually from home, though occasional travel to the office for team meetings, training, and cultural events may be required.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organizations business goals, ensuring a strong link between people initiatives and business outcomes. Act as a strategic partner to leadership, focusing on attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
- Foster positive employee relations by addressing issues, managing conflicts, and promoting a work environment that reflects the companys values.
- Oversee performance management programs to support continuous improvement, goal setting, feedback, and career development.
- Lead and build a high-performing HR team that earns company-wide trust and adds value to the HR function.
- Create, execute, and assess HR initiatives that support the organizations goals, adapting to a dynamic business environment.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and regulations, staying updated on legal changes and making necessary policy adjustments.
- Use data-driven insights to develop and assess HR metrics, analyze trends, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Guide organizational change initiatives by effectively communicating, managing resistance, and supporting employees through transitions.
- Implement and oversee adherence to HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure fair and consistent treatment of employees. Serve as a liaison between HR, management, and employees on HR-related matters.
- Manage investigations, conflict resolution, and employee communications in partnership with Employment Law, Security, HR Business Partners, Ombuds, and other relevant parties.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion by leading initiatives that support an inclusive and respectful work environment.
- Utilize HR technology platforms to streamline processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance overall efficiency.
Eligibility and Requirements - Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive HR leadership experience, with at least 8-10 years in a strategic role within the Philippines.
- Deep knowledge of Philippine labor laws and regulations.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align HR strategies with business objectives and drive organizational success.
- Proven success in designing and implementing HR programs that support business goals.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
