JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for Translator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional linguistic skills, fluency in English, Tagalog, Japanese, and Chinese and a deep understanding of cultural nuances to provide high-quality translation services and ensure effective communication across our global partners and clients.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
• Translate written documents, including legal, technical, and marketing materials, from English to Tagalog, Japanese, and Chinese and vice versa.
• Ensure translations are contextually appropriate, accurate, and reflect the original meaning.
• Review and edit translations for quality assurance, ensuring adherence to client specifications and deadlines.
• Provide initial translations and final proofread versions to maintain top-notch quality.
• Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and clients to clarify translation requirements and preferences.
• Participate in meetings with clients to discuss project details and translation strategies.
• Adapt content to reflect cultural nuances and sensitivities pertinent to the target audience.
• Research and understand evolving language usage trends to keep translations relevant and modern.
• Compliance with the Management System ( ISO 9001:2015 , ISO 14001:2015 , ISO 45001: 2018 , RBA Code of Conduct).
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Knowledge:
• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a translator in a professional setting, with a portfolio of completed translations.
Skills and Abilities:
• Fluency in English, Tagalog, Japanese, and Chinese (spoken and written).
• Strong cultural awareness and understanding of the nuances of each language.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in all required languages.
• Proficiency in translation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
