Business Services & Corporate Advisory (Accounting)
SPECIFICATION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare, deliver and pay accurate and timely tax returns on behalf of the company Inspect legal means of reducing tax liability and analyze income tax deductions in collaboration with tax advisors such as external auditors. Manage all Tax accounts in the Balance Sheets to ensure consistency with tax assets and liabilities to the BIR. Ensure the organization is kept updated and always comply with all new tax regulations. Liase with tax external auditors during year end audit. Ensure compliance with other reporting regulatory bodies such as National Water Regulatory Board and Security and Exchange Commission. Manage tariff derivations for NWRB. Assist in developing the company's compliance program to ensure all internal practices adhere to applicable laws. Performs other task that may be given from time to time. Graduate of BS in Law, Taxation, Accounting or related field
With at least two (5) years in Tax Compliance
Superior mathematical and analytical skills and eye for detail
Experience with preparing and submitting tax statements, tax returns, and the corresponding financial statements
Familiarity with tax policies and regulations
Excellent organization and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
CTA, CPA, and similar certifications are considered a plus
