Steelman

The Steelman shall be responsible for preparing and creating steel frameworks to form structures and/or piping frameworks.
Interprets construction and erection drawings; Examines/reviews the sequence of construction and erection; follows the approved construction and assembly/erection flow.
Reviews regularly to ensure that construction/erection drawings are on their latest revision.
Ensures that all metal parts fit perfectly with each other and conform to the specified sizes and thicknesses, as required.
Determines quantities, sizes, shapes, and locations of reinforcing rods from blueprints, sketches, or oral instructions.
Positions and aligns steel with connecting bars and spud wrenches.
Builds and installs iron or steel girders, columns, and other construction materials.
**Minimum Qualifications**:

- High-School or Technical/Vocational Course graduate

**Minimum Experience**:

- At least two (2) years of experience in steel/fit-up works in a construction, oil & gas, mining and/or other similar sector.
- Knowledgable in reading & interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Able to do heavy labor works for considerate periods of time.

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: Php8,000.00 - Php15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Batangas City, Batangas: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
