Responsibilities:Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols for metal stamping processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure precise understanding of design requirements and manufacturing capabilities.Process Evaluation: Conduct audits and assessments of metal stamping processes to identify areas of non-compliance and potential improvements. Provide feedback and recommendations based on findings.Inspection and Testing: Lead the development and execution of inspection plans using appropriate measurement tools and techniques to validate product quality at various stages of the manufacturing process.Root Cause Analysis: Utilize problem-solving methodologies such as root cause analysis, 8D problem-solving, etc. to investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including administration, production, and metal stamping department, to identify and implement process improvements and best practices related to quality assurance in metal stamping.Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate and monitor supplier performance regarding quality standards. Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure adherence to specifications and requirements.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality inspections, tests, and corrective actions. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management that outline quality performance metrics and improvement initiatives.Training and Development: Provide training and mentorship to team members and production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and the importance of adhering to product specifications.Compliance: Ensure compliance with the Management System (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, RBA Code of Conduct).Job Specifications:Knowledge: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.Experience in the same field.Skills and Abilities: Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies with inspection techniques and measurement tools specific to metal stamping.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
