Sr. Bookkeeper

Job Specifications:
• Must have a Bachelor's degree in accountancy
• With at least 5 years meaningful experience in Bookkeeping
• Computer Literate - Intermediate to Advanced Level knowledge in MS Excel
• With at least 2 year experience with Oracle
• Strong analytical skills, Keen to details and and a solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures
• Strong ability to multitask and work on tight deadline

Duties and Responsibilities
Accounting:
1. Review records posted by Junior Bookkeeper to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, purchase orders, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements.
2. Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies or errors.
3. Process and record financial transactions, including journal entries and general ledger entries.
4. Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
5. Assist with the preparation of financial statements for audits and tax filings.
6. Provide guidance and support to junior bookkeeper.
7. Stay updated on accounting principles and regulations to ensure compliance.
8. Develop and improve accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
9. Review tax returns prepared by Junior Bookkeeper prior filing.

Administrative:
1. Assist with other administrative and accounting tasks as required, collaborating with the finance team
