Sprayer and Application Support SpecialistSage Ag Inc. is looking for several highly motivated individuals to join our team. Through this exciting position,
you will work directly with a major agricultural equipment manufacturer in various locations in the United States
and Canada. This position will support the growth and implementation of See and Spray technology in local
regional markets. This position will require traveling. Sprayer Specialists will be working with both grower owned
and demo machines, providing support to field teams and dealerships with customer selection, pre-season
setup, training as well as provide solutions in-field.
Responsibilities:Support grower and demo machines during fallow, pre and post application passes.Ensure successful set-up of product and provide technical and mechanical tuning when needed.Assist marketing and engineering staff with a key focus on sales support.Work daily with field teams, farmers, dealers and AG retail agronomists.Work remotely in the fields and 90% travel in small rural areas.Provide machine/implement support, correct nozzle tip selection, adapt potential changes to ensure successful application.Work harmoniously with local growers and agronomists to help develop herbicide plans.Forecast and adjust chemical plans for effectiveness based on field data.Requirements:Minimum GPA of 2.5 in an Agricultural major; Agronomy, Ag Engineering, etc. or a related degree with Agronomy experience.Understanding different regional cropping and agronomic weed control and crop production ag practices (corn, soybeans, cotton, peanuts, potatoes, sugar beets, wheat, rye, canola).Sprayer and application experience (preferred but not required).Sales process knowledge and experience.John Deere Precision Ag technology competency- Gen 4, Gen 5 displays, SprayStar, Operation Center, setup, troubleshooting & Optimization.Work professionally with dealerships, customers, operators and various Engineering and marketing teams.Valid U.S. Driver's License w/ clean driving record.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Excellent communication skills.Self-driven and motivated, hardworking, long hours.Ability to travel (up to 90%).Details:Job Duration: Full-Time
Job Location: Midwest Region, Travel is required
Compensation: Salary Range: $50,000-60,000 yearly depending on experience, opportunity for performance bonuses. Approximately 56 hours weekly. All travel expenses paid by Sage Ag Inc. Company vehicle provided.
