Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Location: Philippines

Working Hours: 9 AM ET - 5 PM ET + on-call rotation

Salary: up to $3,500

Overview: As a SRE, you will play a vital role in supporting our engineering teams by ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our cloud-based infrastructure. You will work closely with our development teams to implement and maintain our infrastructure using best practices and automation tools.

Responsibilities: Manage and optimize our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. CI/CD with GitHub actions or Jenkins. Server configuration tools like Ansible or Puppet. Write scripts using Python or JavaScript to automate tasks. Build and maintain an API gateway. Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues. Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field. Ability to create and maintain a Cloud Architecture diagram. Must be available to work weekends during on-call rotation monthly. Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Must be able to willingly assist the App support team when needed. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform. Strong scripting skills using Python or JavaScript. Understanding of networking concepts and cloud architecture. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
