Align, document and set-up Operational Data Agreement from Data Sources to Data Consumers, ensuring that there is a clear alignment on the end-to-end data flow
Manage, optimize and ensure that the Data Operations Platform Support Professionals monitors the end-to-end processes, starting with data feeds from source systems into the data platform up until data delivery to consuming applications
Lead the team in improving and maintaining support documentations and means for communication with stakeholders, such as a portal, work place instructions or run books
Spearheads managing Data Source Owners and Data Consumers communicating in a professional and timely manner
Produce insights and dashboards on the Data Management and Analytics Platform metrics and ensure action is taken on performance below defined thresholds
Continuously analyse trends in order to prevent recurrence of common incidents and minimize the impact to critical data consumers
We are looking for candidates who are pro-active, passionate and driven to work in Service Management. You are good at stakeholder management, analytical and an experienced problem solver, a good communicator and used to working under pressure. Following are the key skills for the role:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
At least 5 years experience leading a Service Management team focused on supporting a Data Management or Data Analytics platform is preferred.
Experience with Change and Release Management with strong process improvement experience
Working knowledge of Data Integration and Data Analytics platforms. Knowledge in DataStage and Power BI preferred
Spearheads automation initiatives utilizing the assets (Kibana 7.5, Grafana and Microsoft PowerBI, IBM IIS Datastage Director / IIS webconsole) available
Strong Stakeholder Management skills, with prior experience working collaboratively in a cross functional team
Ability to analyse issues, determine root causes and developing solutions for improving stability of data operations
Skilled in communicating complex topics and solutions and open to ideas from others
Comfortable working in in an international context
Transparent, flexible and motivated to make every day a success
ITIL and other relevant certifications are preferred
