Job Overview The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health and operational success of the organization. This role involves managing financial planning and analysis, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and driving strategic financial initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and will collaborate with senior leadership to inform decision-making and support business growth.
Your Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the organization's financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy.Prepare and present accurate, timely financial statements and management reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and internal controls.Collaborate with department heads to align financial goals with organizational objectives.Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support operational needs and growth initiatives.Oversee and coordinate audits, both internal and external, ensuring readiness and compliance.Provide mentorship and guidance to the finance team, fostering professional growth and continuous improvement.Identify and drive process improvements, leveraging technology to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.Act as a strategic partner to senior management, supporting strategic planning and providing insights on financial implications of business activities.What our Client is Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA preferred.Proven experience in finance, with at least 3-5 years in a senior managerial role.Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP) and regulatory compliance.Advanced proficiency in accounting and financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail.Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing finance teams.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing financial best practices.Ready to take the next step in your career?
