THE ROLESenior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for the Temenos Journey Manager (TJM) platform work to provide end-to-end operational support for approximately 10 key TJM customers across the region. These customers include large well-known companies as well as government bodies. The role will operate as part of a team of 3 x Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineers, working in shifts to provide 24x7 on-call coverage for critical incidents.
OPPORTUNITIESYou will respond to and resolve platform and application outages.You will monitor operational and security events and respond appropriately.You will manage operational tasks such as upgrades or maintenance activities.You will liaise with the hosting provider supporting the platform as required.You will liaise with customers in cases of critical incidents and monthly reporting on platform performance/stability.You will work as part of a wider regional APAC team to continually enhance the platform and service.You will take technical operational ownership of a key platform supporting large organizations and government bodies.You will work as part of a strong team of technical and business experts driving a SaaS First strategy.You will drive continuous improvements to improve service and operational efficiencies.You will interact with key technical stakeholders from a wide group of customers across a number of different business verticals.You will build strong working relationships with vendors.You will engage with the broader team to build relationships, knowledge, and collaboration.You will grow experience and knowledge in the suite of Temenos products.SKILLSYou should have 5+ years in system administration roles specialising in Linux, Apache and MySQL.You should have 2+ years experience in roles requiring strong engagement with customers or external stakeholders.You should have strong Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu), Apache and MySQL administration abilities.You should have basic AWS knowledge.You should have general infrastructure knowledge (networking, firewalls, security).You should have strong verbal & written communication skills and ability to interact with customers effectively on technical topics.You should have interest in improving operational efficiency through scripting and automation.VALUESCare about our customers to help them transform and realize the value of our technology and service capabilities.Commit to excellent customer service.Collaborate to maintain the highest standards of Temenos through self-motivation, ambition, and focus.
