We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business analysis within a software development environment, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to lead complex projects from inception to completion. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding business needs, translating them into technical requirements, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities: Strategic Planning and Analysis: Lead the strategic planning and analysis process to identify business needs and opportunities.Develop and maintain a deep understanding of business processes, goals, and challenges.Collaborate with senior management to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Requirement Gathering and Documentation: Conduct detailed requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders, including interviews, workshops, and surveys.Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.Ensure that requirements are clearly understood and agreed upon by all stakeholders. Project Leadership: Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure on-time and within-scope delivery. Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.Design and implement future state processes that leverage new technologies and best practices.Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team.Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on project status and changes.Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their needs are met throughout the project. Quality Assurance and Testing: Collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve defects and issues.Ensure that final deliverables are of high quality and meet user expectations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, BusinessAdministration, or a related field. A Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent is preferred.7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within a software development environment.Proven experience leading and managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and address complex business issues.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Proficiency in creating detailed and comprehensive documentation.Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, with a track record of successful project delivery.Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.Experience with requirement management tools (e.g. Linear, Jira) and diagramming tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart). Preferred Qualifications: Professional certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or project management (e.g., PMP).Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI).Experience with Enterprise level clients and projects
