General Objectives:
Responsible for planning and implementing the sales and marketing strategies of the department,
ensuring the accomplishment of its various goals, and primarily responsible for the business
generation activities and attainment of set targets.
The Department Head ensures the referral of quality accounts.
I. SALES & MARKETING FUNCTION
A. Solicits new accounts and ensures quality customers for repeat business and referrals.
B. Enhance relationships with existing clients, ensuring renewal on or before due dates.
C. Accomplishes the weekly/monthly sales plans and ensures that sales scorecards and other
reports are property completed and submitted within the required time frame.
D. Monitors market developments including competitor movements.
E. Designs and implements promotional and marketing activities, and conducts client calls,
briefings, and sales presentations in order to expand the business.
F. Ensures social media accounts of the company are updated and reports to senior
management any recommendation for changes & enhancement.
G. Explores other marketing channels to promote sales production.
II. ADMINISTRATIVE AND CONTROL
A. Conducts sales coaching and feedback on performance to the sales team via sales meetings
and briefings.
B. Ensures sales audit rating is "PASSING", referred accounts to credit department has complete
and valid documentation as per guidelines and procedure.
C. Ensures the presence of effective sales personnel complement to answer clients' queries and
needs in the office and/or its branches, and efficiently process turn-ins for endorsement to
credit.
D. Evaluates and recommends for approval all loan applications and deviation handling to the
appropriate level of authority.
III. METRICS
A. Monitor and evaluates overall performance versus assigned goals and targets.
B. Attends regular monthly meetings and reports to Senior Management Sales performance of
the department and other updates as necessary.
C. Serves as product development advocate by anticipating changes in clients' needs and making
recommendations for the development of new products.
D. Assumes other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
IV. ACCOUNTABILITIES
A. Ensures attainment of the performance objectives as set by Senior Management
B. Ensures effectiveness and efficiency in his/her performance in accordance with the plans,
procedures, and programs.
C. Ensures accuracy, timeliness, and proper handling of documents/reports generated received,
and released, including but not limited to, adherence to the sales process.
