Main Purpose of the role: To enhance the sales skills and capabilities of the team to achieve targets and drive business growth; Responsible for training and developing the sales team to ensure they have the necessary resources and support to effectively function in their role; Supports the National Sales Managers in developing learning solutions (other than classroom trainings) specific to their sub-function's capability needs.
Key Deliverables: Assess the existing sales academy framework and curriculum and make necessary improvements to align with Grocery Sales team's objectives.Collaborate with subject matter experts, such as senior sales leaders, to develop and deliver specific functional training needs of the Grocery Sales team.Design and conduct comprehensive onboarding program for new hires of the Grocery Sales team.Organize engagement activities to foster a positive and motivated Grocery Sales team (Sales Leadership Forum, Sharks Recognition Program, etc).Key Requirements: 5-8 years of background in sales to understand the challenges and dynamics of all functions of the sales organization.Experience in designing and delivering training programs including knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, training evaluation methods.Experience in developing sales strategies and aligning capability efforts with overall business objectives.Experience in analyzing sales processes and KPIs.Preferably from a similar industry.
