"POSITION SUMMARY:
Review, evaluate, and analyze work environments and design programs and procedures to control, eliminate and prevent disease or injury caused by chemical, physical, and biological agents or ergonomic factors. May conduct inspections and enforce adherence to laws and regulations governing the health and safety of individuals.
ORGANIZATIONAL SETTING:
• Reports directly to Admin Assistant Manager
• Coordinates with ESHS Committee, Department Heads/Managers
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Adhere to standards set by the state agencies
• Establish safety and environment guideline for whole organization
• Create policies in accordance with rules and regulations set by the state agencies and company policies
• Plan and implement OHS programs
• Compile and maintain relevant registers to ensure compliance
• Document staff information, minutes of meetings, and reports compiled for management
• Regularly conduct meeting with ESHS committee to share best practice techniques
• Conduct routine workplace safety inspections to identify potential hazards, along with observing workers to ensure they're following safety procedures while on the job
• Investigate incidents in the workplace; prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes to prevent same incidents in the future
• Conduct training to employees on OSHS standards and company protocols
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Competency Requirements:
• Knowledge in EHS legislations and procedures
• Experience in writing policies and procedures for health and safety
• Proficient in MS Office
• Knowledge on potentially hazardous materials or practices
• With good command of English Language
• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Problem-solving skills
Position Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the same capacity or background
