RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Supplier Sourcing and Evaluation: Identify and assess potential suppliers, both domestic and international, to meet the company's procurement needs.Conduct supplier evaluations, considering factors such as quality, pricing, reliability, and ethical practices.Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. 2. Procurement Planning: Collaborate with various departments to determine procurement requirements and specifications for products.Develop and maintain a procurement plan to ensure timely availability of goods while optimizing inventory levels. 3. Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards.Prepare and manage contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring legal compliance and adherence to company policies. 4. Order Processing and Tracking: Process purchase orders and monitor their progress, ensuring orders are placed accurately and promptly.Track and expedite orders as necessary to meet delivery timelines and resolve any issues that may arise. 5. Cost Control and Budgeting: Monitor and control procurement costs, seeking cost-saving opportunities and efficient sourcing alternatives.Prepare and manage budgets related to procurement activities. 6. Quality Assurance:
• Collaborate with quality control and inspection teams to ensure that procured products meet specified quality standards and requirements.
7. Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent overstocks or stockouts, optimizing working capital.Implement inventory control measures and strategies. 8. Compliance Monitoring:
• Continuously monitor procurement activities to ensure compliance with established policies and relevant laws. Identify and address areas of non-compliance promptly.
9. Regulatory Liaison:
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with regulatory authorities, government agencies, and relevant industry bodies. Respond to inquiries, requests, and audits from these entities, providing necessary documentation and information.
10. Ethical Standards:
• Promote and enforce ethical procurement practices within the organization, including the prevention of fraud, corruption, and conflicts of interest.
11. Vendor Evaluation
• Collaborate with procurement teams to develop and implement vendor evaluation criteria, including ethical and compliance performance metrics. Ensure vendors adhere to established standards.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree pharmacist (RPH)Proven experience in procurement, regulatory compliance, or a related fieldExcellent knowledge of ethical procurement practices.Analytical skills to assess and mitigate compliance risks.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Willing to do field work and be sent out of town business trips COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
i. Monthly Salary 16,000-18,000
