Quantity/Cost Engineer Job Description
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Prepare detailed cost estimates of the detailed design of the ProjectPrepare cost estimates during the preparation of the future projectCheck quantity and cost for variations of the worksPrepare detailed cost estimates including bills of quantities of civil works contract packagesAssist preparing contract drawings for the project, i.e. road plans, longitudinal profiles, cross-sections, and/or others for rehabilitation worksPreparation of future project, prepare the estimates of quantity and costs for improvement civil works and overall project costsReview and analysis of weekly report and monthly report of civil works contractsCollect information on work done quantities, material on siteReview and calculate monthly statements submitted by contractorsRegular update of overall project cost estimates by completionEstimate required quantities and costs of variations for civil works contractsPrepare yearly budget plan for implementation and necessary financial documents Minimum Requirements: Must be a Civil engineerBachelor's degreeWith experience as Estimator in at least 10 work-projects10 years of experienceHe or she should have experience, as the Quantity/Cost Engineer
