Qaqc Civil Engineer

Job Summary: The QC Engineer is responsible for assisting the QA/QC Head in the implementation of Project Quality Plan and Inspection and Test Plan of all civil works at the project site. Detailed Job Description: Conducts sourcing of materials for use at the project. Conducts regular inspections of the construction activities to identify deviations/non conformances at an early stage of the activity. Liaise with the Client's/Engineer's representative during inspections at the project site. Reports to the QAQC head non conformances during project execution. Discuss with assigned supervisor in the area quality related matters for improvement. Non-compliance may lead to issuance of Non Conformance Report. Conducts inspection of work done outside the project site such as fabrications shops, plants,etc. Ensure that subcontractors adhere to the Project Quality Plan by conducting inspections of their works and enforce disciplinary measures if needed. Monitors the rectification and closure of punch list items of the project prior to handover to the Client. Directly Reports to the QAQC Head.
