Responsibility Job Summary: The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing engineering projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves working closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Coordination: o Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
o Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
o Organize and lead project meetings, ensuring clear communication and documentation.
Engineering Design and Implementation: o Oversee the design and engineering processes, ensuring they meet project specifications and industry standards.
o Review and approve engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
o Collaborate with design teams to resolve technical issues and optimize solutions.
Budget and Resource Management: o Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, monitoring, and control.
o Allocate and manage resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
o Monitor project expenses and provide regular reports on financial status.
Quality Assurance: o Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed standards.
o Conduct inspections and tests to verify that work complies with design specifications and regulations.
o Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Risk Management: o Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
o Monitor and assess risks throughout the project lifecycle.
o Address issues and resolve problems that arise, ensuring minimal impact on project outcomes.
Client and Stakeholder Communication: o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
o Provide regular updates on project progress, milestones, and changes.
o Manage client expectations and address any concerns or feedback effectively.
Compliance and Documentation: o Ensure all project activities comply with legal, environmental, and safety regulations.
o Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, drawings, and contracts.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or a related field. years of experience in project engineering or a similar role. Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred. Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and industry standards. Proficiency in project management software and engineering tools. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
