Production Planning Supervisor

Responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and coordination of work in the production department, ensuring that customer orders and plant capacity align efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Supervise production planning, scheduling, and the preparation of production timelines.
-Ensure that materials and equipment are available to meet production schedules and customer shipping requirements.
-Plan and schedule workflows for each department, adhering to established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
-Optimize laser programs for maximum efficiency and maintain up-to-date drawing data in the programming master library.
-Ensure that the scrap rate meets target levels.
-Analyze production load requirements and plant capacity, creating plans that determine the necessary manufacturing processes, tools, and manpower.
-Track, analyze, and report on production performance, utilizing data from material and production control systems.
-Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field
-with 7 years of total working experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
-Experience in MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) and knowledge of 2 VSM lines.
-Ability to manage Work-In-Progress (WIP) to ensure timely order completion and adherence to priorities.
-Experience in capacity planning and overseeing day-to-day operations, including manpower planning.
-Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, multitasking environment with frequent interruptions.
-Amenable to work in Malvar, Batangas
