Responsible for ensuring product supply and meeting customer requirements, managing Production Plan and Production Schedules, New Products and Product Changes and Discontinuance for product categories handled.
The Production Planner is expected to ensure best utilization of the company's resources, ensures cost controls while ensuring supply and managing inventory levels for assigned category/ies
Takes care of Production Plan and Schedules generation and monitoring thereof.
May concurrently be assigned as Production and Materials Planner/Scheduler for specific category and/or for toll manufacturer partners of GKI.
Ensures availability of raw materials, labels and packaging materials as required for production
Responsible for Inventory Management for total GKI and/or category
Strong in coordination with Sourcing , Production, RND, QA, Warehouse and Logistics
Processes receipt of goods, goods returns and inventory transfer between warehouses.
Responds to supply surges and unplanned demand
Participates in definition and improvement; drives adherence to Planning and Inventory Management processes, routines, metrics , analysis and problem solving.
Responsible for Supply Chain reporting and analysis.
Participates, ensures all Supply Planning systems are run on time and accurately.
Job requirements are as follows :Graduate of Engineering or preferably a course connected with supply chain management
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as Production Planner in a manufacturing company
Required skill(s): SAP/ERP/ Supply Chain Systems
Experience in cosmetics or pharmaceuticals will be a distinct advantage
Computer proficient with experience in supply chain software
Quick response time, strong project management skills
Great attention to detail
A team player; can work to bring out the best in others
A keen interest in natural and organic personal care products
Love for the Philippines and the environment!
Required languages: fluent English and Filipino
