Product Development Supervisor (Makati)

Job Summary:The Product Development Supervisor will be responsible for leading the creation and promotion of new products aligned with the plans and strategies to meet customer needs, wants and requirements.- Responsible in New Product Development such as formulation development / testing, packaging development and sourcing of suppliers/materials.- Identify sales leads, pitch goods or services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts.- Performs technical feasibility study and defines the data and information needed.- Prepares the Product Development project plan and ensures the quality and timely execution.- Reviews recipes and detailed preparation procedures/methods/technique for the subordinates and production people to follow and oversees the coordination with cross-functional departments.- Recommending strategies to position the brand for growth- Analyzing brands of competitors, consumer trends and shopping behaviors**Job Specifications**:**Education**:- Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or any related course.**Experience**:- Background in Marketing or Brand Management is a big plus.- With at least 3 years proven experience in Product & Business Development of an FMCG company.- With advance skills in Production Development Strategy, Product Concept Engineering, Food Product Knowledge and Formulation, Food Chemistry and Analysis.- Proficient in Prototype Sample Development, Yield Calculation & Costing, Packaging Design & Technology, Process Design & Preparation Methods, Food Safety & Microbiology, Quality Management System, Regulatory Compliance, Industrial Design and Manufacturing Operations Support.- Amenable to work in Makati City.**Job Types**: Full-time, PermanentPay: Php20,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Company Christmas gift- Company events- Employee discount- Free parking- Health insurance- Life insurance- Opportunities for promotion- Promotion to permanent employeeSchedule:- 8 hour shift- Day shiftSupplemental Pay:- 13th month salary- Performance bonusCOVID-19 considerations:All newly hired employees are required to undergo Antigen test prior to deployment c/o the company.
