Product Designer - Cavite

WORK LOCATION: Rosario, Cavite

DEPARTMENT: Product Development
REPORTS TO: Engineering Manager
JOB PURPOSE: Tasked with the design and development of new products, emphasizing functionality, usability, and aesthetics; Working closely with global product design and development teams, with particular attention to supporting the Asian market and other regions; Ensure that product designs align with regional needs and preferences and adhere to industry standards

- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Product Engineering, and/or Product Design
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Product Design, with a preference for experience in the Hand Hygiene, Hospitality, or Food Industry
- Experience working with the Asian market or other regions is advantageous.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, Rhino3d, or similar.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and design for manufacturability (DFM)
- Experience creating 3D prototypes and robust proof-of-concepts
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and creatively
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders
- Experience in designing injection molded products with opto-electronic component integration
- Experience in sustainability-focused design
