### Job Description:
Century Pacific Food, Inc., a leading food manufacturing and distribution company, is seeking a dedicated and resourceful Public Relations Associate to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in public relations and communications, with at least three years of relevant experience. This role requires a deep commitment to fostering relationships, enhancing brand visibility, and executing effective PR strategies that align with our organizational goals.
### Key Responsibilities:
- **Media Relations**: Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and other media representatives to secure positive media coverage and ensure favorable mention of the company's products and initiatives.
- **Content Creation**: Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other communications materials that reflect Century Pacific Food's mission and values.
- **Social Media Management**: Assist in the management of the company's social media presence, creating and scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and monitoring online conversations to promote the brand.
- **Event Coordination**: Plan and execute events, product launches, and promotional activities, ensuring seamless logistics and impactful messaging that enhances the company's public image.
- **Crisis Communication**: Act as a key point of contact in times of crisis, assisting with crafting responses and communication strategies to mitigate negative publicity.
- **Market Research**: Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to inform public relations strategies and share insights with the team.
- **Performance Reporting**: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of PR campaigns using relevant metrics, providing reports and recommendations for ongoing improvements.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all channels.
### Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public relations, communications, or relevant roles.
- Demonstrated ability to create compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Strong command of current PR and social media tools, trends, and best practices.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Dedicated and resourceful approach to work, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with measurement tools to assess the effectiveness of PR initiatives is a plus.
