Pollution Control Officer / Safety Officer

Qualifications: Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.Safety Officer: 2 years (Preferred)Pollution Control Officer: 2 years (Preferred)As Supervisor: 2 years (Preferred)Adept in all facets of Occupation Health and Safety requirements and compliances. Job Description: Keep abreast of Environmental Management Bureau's requirements on pollution control.Safety responsibilities in performing the job in his/her area of influence.Attend to the necessary permit requirement of the government (EMB) prior to operating a facility.Ensure compliance of Pollution Control Facilities to government standards.On time submission of Quarterly Self-Monitoring Repost to EMB.Act as liaison officer to EMB, client and other pollution regulating body including the local government pollution control office.Attend the meeting of pollution control officers which from time to time be called by EMB.Monitor the generation and disposal of used residual and other Hazardous waste.Keep records/document of hazardous waste disposal, manifest form and other related supporting documents.Handle other environmental concerns as required by the client and other government agencies.Evaluating and improving safety measures.Advising on all matters related to workplace health and safety.Investigating accidents, writing incident reports, and making recommendations.Conducting inspections to ensure equipment and site safety.Eliminating work hazards.Organizing staff activities on OHS.Helping government agencies conduct risk assessments.
