Job Description:

The Paralegal Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the legal functions within the company, particularly focusing on drafting, revising, and assembling various contracts. This position works closely with the General Counsel on corporate matters and contract issues, providing essential legal information and support to ensure compliance and efficiency in legal processes. The role involves a significant amount of document preparation, coordination with project teams, and participation in strategy meetings related to contract issues.

Job Qualification:

College Graduate
Bachelor degree of Law graduate or Legal Management
At least 5 years of experience in construction management, engineering, or corporate or construction legal support.
With experience in the construction industry is an advantage.
With adequate knowledge of RA 9184.
Excellent written communication skills are required, must possess strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate good judgment about prioritizing the completion of multiple responsibilities, familiarity with legal concepts relevant to the construction industry or to an in-house corporate legal practice, legal processes, systems and rules, in addition to working within the legal Rules of Professional Conduct.
Construction scheduling and claims experience is a plus.
Relevant certifications are an advantage.
Proficiency in using of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
