Job Overview The Organizational Development Lead/Officer is responsible for driving the initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational performance, employee engagement, and the overall culture of the organization.
This role involves conducting organizational assessments, developing and implementing change management strategies, and facilitating the development of leadership and teams across the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities Organizational Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats within the organization's culture, structure, and processes. Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies for organizational development that align with the company's mission, values, and strategic goals. Change Management: Lead change management initiatives, including the development of strategies to manage organizational change, communication plans, and training programs to support transitions. Leadership Development: Design and facilitate leadership development programs aimed at enhancing leadership skills and capabilities across all levels of the organization. Team Development: Implement team development initiatives to improve collaboration, communication, and performance of teams. Performance Management: Develop and refine performance management systems to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and to facilitate high performance. Employee Engagement: Develop strategies and programs to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives to foster a respectful and supportive work environment. Learning and Development: Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to ensure alignment between OD initiatives and employee training and development programs. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data related to organizational development initiatives and report on their effectiveness, making recommendations for continuous improvement. Stakeholder Management: Work closely with senior management, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure OD initiatives are aligned with business needs and objectives. Education: Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in organizational development, with a proven track record of implementing successful OD initiatives. Change Management: Strong experience in managing organizational change. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions. Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities. Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Certifications: Certifications in change management, organizational development, or related fields are a plus.
