Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a prestigious business school and research institution. Our highly respected client is seeking for an OD & L&D Director. The job is based in Makati City, Philippines with hybrid work requirement.
The OD & L&D Director will lead the organization development function, establish strong partnerships, manage various institute-wide projects, and ensure engagement with multiple stakeholders. The role will be reporting to the Chief People Officer.
Tasks and Responsibilities:The role will cover the following facets: Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, Training, Career Management and Development, and Business Partnering.Collaborating with business and functional leaders to assess organizational capability needs, leading projects to enhance people processes and structures for improved productivity, and ensuring quality execution of these initiatives.Managing end-to-end organizational development projects, implementing measurement methods with HR partners, providing expertise in HR analytics, and developing organizational design processes in partnership with leadership.Execute OD projects aligned with financial priorities, conducting risk assessments, and designing a new Performance Management System.Identify trends and root causes of issues, while also fostering knowledge transfer to build local capability for managing smaller projects.Conduct annual training and development needs assessments and propose relevant programs and objectives.Develop and monitor the departmental budget, creating or sourcing effective training materials, and training managers and supervisors in employee development.Plan and organize training events, maintaining communications to inform employees about development resources, evaluating the effectiveness of completed training through follow-up interventions, and making necessary modifications to programs.Design, develop, and lead the implementation of the CMD strategy.Connect the CMD with the business strategy and overall HR Strategy.Set the basic schedule of CMD activities during the year.Lead and manage the development of different development programs for specific groups of employees and talents.Provide professional, business-focused HR service to designated client groups.Build strong working relationships based on credibility and open communication.Work with the other HR Business Partner/s to share good practice, ensure a broad consistency of approach, and cover each other as necessary. Job Requirements:At least 10 years of experience in HR OD.Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Psychology, or any relevant degree; preferably with post-graduate diploma or masters.Excellent strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills.Demonstrated experience in organizational development and organizational design.Proven ability to manage the people and process challenges associated with a rapidly growing organization.
