Job DescriptionCompany Nurse (Occupational Health Nurse)
The nurse will be responsible for the following:
Oversee the management of the OSH program in coordination with OSH committee.Monitor and inspect any health or safety aspect of the operations with the participation of all employees.Coordinate health and safety programs of the company.Provide assistance to government agencies during safety and health inspections.Ensure the treatment and lactation room facilities and equipment are well maintained.Manage inventories of medicines, medical and safety supplies.Act as a backup for certain duties of HR.Monitor medical card, insurance card, and annual physical exam.Monitor pre-employment and employment health checks.Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.Minimum QualificationsThe Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) must have the following:
Registered Nurse.Training as an occupational safety/health nurse (preferred, not required).Experience of at least 1 to 2 years as an OHN or hospital nurse.About WESTCO Electrical and Equipment CorporationYour trusted solutions provider. An electrical engineering equipment and services company.
