General Responsibilities
?Responsible for preparing care plans for patients, administering medications and treatments, Monitoring Vitalsigns and maintaining medical records.
A.2 Specific Responsibilities
Receives patients and renders necessary nursing care and treatment like dispensing the required medicines.Administer first aide treatment on illness or accident before referring the employee to the hospital for furthermedical treatment.Monitoring of vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, heartbeat) if needed.Attend the emergency cases within the company.Give medical referral to the patient at the accredited hospital for further evaluation.Custodian of employee health record.Being patient's counselor with the use of therapeutic interpersonal communication skills to provide and makesappropriate referrals and facilitates the patient's problem solving and decision-making skills.Health and safety adviser of all employees.Assist employees for sickness and maternity benefits.Assure that medical supplies especially medicines are available at all times.Sees to it that all medical instruments are in proper condition and notifies superior of any repair needed.Assist annual medical examination.Assist company doctor in giving medical order.Prepare summary of clinic deduction.Maintains an up-to-date inventory of medicines and supplies and replenishes supply if needed.Summarize consumption of medicines administered to employees/ patients.Perform pre-eye examination.Give medical referral for Pre-employment medical examination.Provides assistance in accident prevention activities including health and safety as well as environmentalsanitation control.Payment request for Pre-employment medical and monthly retainers' fee of Doctor and Dentist.Preparation of DOLE yearly report.
B. Authorities
Authority to approve and disapprove employee's sick leave application.Authority to issue NTE to violators of the company rules and regulations.
