RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure that the network capacity can meet the business needs and that it is secure. Pilot the implementation, administration, and management of the corporate network (including WAN, LAN, VLAN, WLAN) and communication solutions (VOIP, TOIP). Supervise and coordinate a team of network administrators in globally partnering with the COE, balancing existing resources in the zone with additional ones. Build and update the Network and Communication catalog of services (technology, services) with the relevant SLA and pricing to meet the zone expectation. Be proactive in ensuring stability, response time, operational consistency, and lifecycle over the network, while providing monthly reports on activity, quality, and performance of this network. Act as a point of contact for, among other things, ordering new network links, decommissioning existing ones, verifying billings through rigorous management and follow-up including monthly reports to management. Assure operability of the solutions. Ensure appropriate documentation, including procedures and SOPs for the network admins and other departments. Manage the budget and participate in the financial management of the ISS Asia department and seek cost optimization. Participate in vendor and contract management activities. Provide dashboards and key metrics to monitor and track activity. Report on activity and project progress to management. TECHNICAL ABILITIES: Strong experience with WAN/LAN/VLAN/WLAN (MPLS, IPSEC…) management and troubleshooting. Network hardware (CISCO, HP, H3C). Protocols BGP, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, IPsec... QoS mechanisms. Security Administration with Palo Alto networks, PIX/ASA, RADIUS, TACACS. WAN Compression and Optimization appliances Riverbed. Knowledge of Cisco network products is mandatory - CCNP Cisco mandatory. VOIP and TOIP knowledge. Infoblox, SDWAN, Cloud network – F5, Azure FWs. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION: Master's degree (Bac + 5). 10 years of experience in network IT including 3 years of experience in team supervision. Strong organizational, analytical, decision-making skills and project management skills. Good project management skills. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. English speaking mandatory. Ability to analyze and synthesize situations. Ability to understand the business constraints. Ability to articulate complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand. Self-motivated, eager to learn and grow in the IT profession. Team player, must be able to work with people within and outside of the IT department. Customer service oriented. Willing to do some traveling. Dedication. Other Details: This is a 6-month or 1-year contract position with our client; subject to extension and absorption based on performance and project needs. Work location will be at Alabang, Muntinlupa with three days RTO and 2 days work from home per week. Benefit from the lesser tax deduction (only 8% of yearly income) under consultancy setup.
