OverviewTE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

TE Connectivity's Supply Planning Leaders are responsible for the timely production and deliveries of goods, at cost-effective rates, optimizing our cash, while delivering excellent customer experience. They ensure the availability of Finished Goods in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the supply and service level as well as the stock healthiness, benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals and definition of root causes to drive improvement.
This role requires being ready to challenge the status quo, roll up your sleeves, and work together with cross-functional teams to develop and orchestrate the plans that will help our organization grow profitably. This role provides a unique path to grow as a leader in supply chain, while developing both business acumen and technological edge. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Planning for DND.
ResponsibilitiesDrive worth 800M USD of portfolio across the globe with 4 Manufacturing Plants (3 in China and 1 in Philippines) – 4 direct reports approx.Actively participate in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process providing the supply status, reviewing the demand outlook, and helping to create the S&OP recommendations that are reviewed and approved by the Business, then drive execution of the supply plan.Help secure end-to-end alignment of the Signals – Guarantee effective communication upstream of the Supply Plan / Build plan to follow from the factories and assess / identify constraints mid to long run.Propose and design scenario planning to aid decision making.Manage phase In / Phase Out process execution from a planning perspective on dedicated parts of the portfolio.Manage end-to-end inventory performance and the identification of revenue risks and opportunities, supporting the decision-making process for potential trade-offs, including allocation of capacity.Be a focal point to the Business/Category and market communication on the status of supply, assurance of supplies, escalations, and allocation management working closely with Business Customer Care teams, Business Demand Planning Teams, Sales & Marketing as well as the DC planning teams.Drive continuous improvement for owned key performance indicators such as Complete and On Time, Inventory, revenue realization, Order to Cash Lead time, and Forecasting Accuracy.Key metrics:Profitable GrowthShip to Request – End to End Lead time – Customer Net Promoter ScoreSupply plan accuracyEnd to end Inventory turns, and HealthCost to serveS&OP MaturityTEOA star levelWhat your background should look like:Master's degree15+ years of experience in Supply chain roles – preferably operational and functional track records8+ years in Leadership driving Cross Cultural teamsHighly customer-centric orientedSupply planning experience, preferably within an environment recognized for S&OP maturityHigh proficiency in Material Management – Demand / Supply Planning & S&OP a must – Customer Experience – Manufacturing Planning a mustStrong analytical & continuous improvement skills (problem solver) as well as a good understanding of data analytics capabilitiesStrong interpersonal skills, ability to work with various levels of the organization.Knowledge of SAP, IBP or equivalent planning tools a mustStrong people & organizational leadership skills: Reliable; Change agent; People-oriented; Approachable, Great team playerExcellent oral and written communication skills, both in 1-to-1 situations and group settingsAbility to prioritize very well and maintain an appropriate balance in a fast-paced, heavy-workload environmentLanguage skills: Excellent English (verbal / written)Ability to influence and convince (Strategic), Proven strategic and operational thinking skillsWhat TE Connectivity offers:We offer competitive rewards & compensation.
