Medical Biller

We are looking for a skilled Medical Biller to manage our medical billing operations. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of the medical billing process from start to finish and possess at least 2 years of experience with EMR Practice Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process and submit medical claims to insurance companies.

- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.

- Review and resolve billing discrepancies and errors.

- Post payments and adjustments accurately.

- Handle patient billing inquiries and disputes.

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

- Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR Practice Suite.

- Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to optimize billing processes.

- Generate and analyze billing reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Medical Biller for at least 3 years.

- Proficiency in using EMR Practice Suite.

- Thorough understanding of the medical billing process, including coding, claims submission, and payment posting.

- Strong knowledge of insurance guidelines, including Medicare and Medicaid.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical billing or coding is a plus.
