Mechanical Design Engineer (Refrigeration)

Participates in technical reviews of refrigeration system requirements, specifications, designs, and codes.
Prepares design of Freon/Ammonia Refrigeration System and selection of valve and pipe size.
Design of Cold Room Polyurethane Insulated Sandwich Panels (PU Panel).
Creates CAD models, including pipe raceway, P&ID, machine assembly drawings, and planning the material of the system and make Bill of Materials (BOMS) to support manufacturing and Project Installation.
Works with senior and fellow engineers to develop alternatives and options for completion and further development of projects.
Provides technical and engineering support for day-to-day project site works.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
Candidate must be in a related field such as refrigeration designing company, contractor, or engineering department of a refrigeration industrial plant with at least 3 years of experience.
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD modeling, drawings, and experience in Refrigeration Design.
Knowledge of how to use standards, safety regulations, testing requirements, and country-specific requirements.
Familiar with refrigeration system devices, i.e., pipeline and valve function.
Must have a deep understanding of refrigeration system principles and refrigeration system cycle.
Good foundation in Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, and Refrigeration Cycle.
Hands-on experience with installation of PU Panel and Refrigeration system is a plus.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes including turning, milling, and welding.
