Company Description PILMICO ANIMAL NUTRITION CORPORATION, is a subsidiary of Pilmico Foods Corporation wholly owned by Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc. We provide customers with high quality feeds for aqua, hogs, poultry as well as customized solutions for large farm accounts.
Since we started in 1998, we have grown and diversified to include swine and layer operations in Tarlac.
Our swine and layer farms employ advanced production systems, with automated feeding and drinking systems. Climate control is achieved in the barns through tunnel ventilation and evaporative cooling system. Our swine genetic program and pullet source selection on the other hand, ensures that we only produce quality market hogs and layers. Strict biosecurity measures are also in place to protect the animals from bacterial and viral disease exposure.
As a total solutions provider, we aim to become a one-stop shop that offers quality feeds, technical support, and a growing range of fresh & quality meats & eggs products. We do this through our four-pillar Diamond Program which consists of: 1) good breeding & genetics, 2) complete healthcare 3) sound management and 4) excellent nutrition & feeding.
Qualifications
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Effieciently operates computerized waste water system in accordance with specification, instruction and specified sequence.
- Promptly provides feedback to maintenance planner, technician and/or supervisors regarding any abnormalities and alarming equipment condition.
- Regularly measure and monitor waste water chemical stock.
- Consistently record and report operational data such as readings on meters, instruments and gauges.
- Effectively read and interpret instruction manuals or technical drawings related to waste water treatment (particularly DAF system) or process.
- Regularly inspect waste water treatment facility record and report damages and any facility problems.
WASTE WATER TREATMENT PERFORMANCE and SUPPLY MANAGEMENT
- Regularly monitors and maximize waste water performance.
- Constantly identifies and recommends to Maintenance supervisors strategies and measure to promote optimum efficiency of equipment and waste water quality. Implements, monitors evaluates effectiveness of approved policies measures.
- Regularly prepares and submit relevant report as advised by team leader.
- Effectively coordinates with maintenance planner on the supply management of supply chemicals to assure continuous and cost efficient operation.
AIR POLLUTION CONTROL MANAGEMENT
- Regularly monitors and record the quality of waste water ensuring it is within the standard set by governing agency.
- Closely coordinate with Pollution Control Officer and mechanical supervisor regarding the regular effluent water testing of the facility in accordance with the standard as set by the DENR and or other applicable standard.
- Promptly reports to immediate Team leader any abnormalities on the effluent water quality.
RISK MANAGEMENT
- Closely coordinates with Maintenance Supervisors and formulate risk management system for the waste water Facility.
- Consistently ensure that all risk mitigating actions are implemented according to plan and regularly submit risk monitoring report to Mechanical Supervisor.
- Continuously identify operational and occupational risk recommend mitigating actions to mechanical supervisor.
CONTINUOUSIMPROVEMENT
- Continuously explore system and facility improvement recommend for implementation.
OTHER TASK
- Attend to emergency/special calls relative to electrical/Mechanical problems during night shift, should need arise.
- Implements the good housekeeping program 5s and other company programs in all areas supervised.
- Ensure compliance governmental regulations and deviation to such should be brought to the attention of the maintenance supervisor.
- Performs work as maybe assigned by the immediate supervisor.
