Company Description PILMICO ANIMAL NUTRITION CORPORATION, is a subsidiary of Pilmico Foods Corporation wholly owned by Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc. We provide customers with high quality feeds for aqua, hogs, poultry as well as customized solutions for large farm accounts.
Since we started in 1998, we have grown and diversified to include swine and layer operations in Tarlac.
Our swine and layer farms employ advanced production systems, with automated feeding and drinking systems. Climate control is achieved in the barns through tunnel ventilation and evaporative cooling system. Our swine genetic program and pullet source selection on the other hand, ensures that we only produce quality market hogs and layers. Strict biosecurity measures are also in place to protect the animals from bacterial and viral disease exposure.

Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance Management System
- Supervise the implementation of the Enterprise Asset Management System (Maximo), ensuring optimum optimum utilization of the system.
- Regularly review the data gathered in Maximo and perform technical analysis as a basis for improvement in both the system and maintenance management.
Installation and Maintenance of Electrical Systems and Equipment
- Plans, schedules and supervises the repair and maintenance works of meats facilities electrical systems and equipment ensuring that repair procedures follow equipment specifications and applicable standards, and that they are finished on time and without compromising safety, workmanship quality and productivity.
- Submits list and discusses priority works with immediate superior and/or concerned department heads or process owners for appropriate action.
- Regularly reviews the equipment, system and plant shutdown reports and performs root cause analysis of down times caused by electrical system or equipment failures.
- Ensures that causes of equipment and/or system failures are identified, validated and given priority in the next maintenance works scheduling and that plant down time does not exceed set standards.
- Regularly reviews, recommends and implements approved cost-effective maintenance program to ensure effective maintenance of critical and non-critical equipment, based on the root causes identified from previous problems encountered, condition monitoring and time-based tasks ensuring that identified problems do not recur.
- Establishes and implements a maintenance monitoring plan for critical and non-critical equipment.
- Checks and analyzes the data of the operating conditions of equipment/machine regularly and forwards recommendations to immediate superior necessary measures to ensure safe and cost-efficient operations.
- Assigns and monitors progress of issued work orders or job orders to team members (TMs) and contractors ensuring that TMs and contractors conform to required lead- time, maintenance specifications and standards on quality of workmanship.
- Coordinates with the Maintenance Planner in the establishing and maintaining an efficient materials/spare parts requisition system.
- Establishes, maintains, recommends and implements a good housekeeping program for all areas supervised to ensure compliance to but not limited to 5S and other company standard and government regulations.
Energy and Supplies Management:
- Monitors plant energy consumption, demand, power factor and other relevant parameters to serve as input to Department Heads and Accounting for operation efficiency and financial analysis.
- Identifies and forwards recommendations to immediate superior policies and measures to promote energy conservation. Implements, evaluates and monitors effectiveness of approved policies and measures.
- Regularly prepares the Energy Consumption Report, Electrical Downtime Report, Maintenance Personnel Man-hours Report and the Plant Performance Measures Report to immediate superior to ensure that management is constantly updated of plant performance. Provides root cause analysis and corrective/preventive measures for non conforming parameters.
Continuous Improvement Projects:
- Conducts feasibility studies on the possible alteration or system improvements to optimize plant and swine farms safety and efficiency. Forwards recommendations to immediate superior and/or concerned process owner for evaluation and approval.
- Performs designs and cost estimates of electrical components of improvement projects ensuring that these are in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards and forwards to immediate superior process owner for evaluation and approval.
- Interprets received electrical plans, drawings and diagrams for projects ensuring that these are properly explained and understood by subordinates during implementation.
- Evaluates bid proposals for the supply of labor and/or materials of projects and maintenance works ensuring that they satisfy the required specifications and applicable standards. Submits recommendations to immediate superior for final approval.
- Supervises the installation of plant and swine farms electrical systems and/or equipment ensuring safety and efficiency and that the specifications are met.
- Recommends and implements approved company policies, procedures and guidelines to enhance safety and accident prevention of manpower and electrical equipment at all times.
People Development:
- Supervises, monitors and evaluates the performance of direct subordinates.
- Builds IDP and provides intervention for the development and growth of direct subordinates.
- Monitors the services of third party manpower service provider in the Central Maintenance department.
Other Tasks:
- Attends to emergency/special calls relative to electrical problems during night shift, should the need arise.
- Appointed membership to committees whenever necessary
- Participates in facility improvement projects as may be assigned.
- Performs related work as maybe assigned by the immediate superior.
Qualifications
Licensed Registered Electrical Engineer or Registered master electrician with atleast 8 years experience as a plant electrical, Instrumentation and process control work
