Logistics Supervisor

Overseeing the logistics and transportation of materials, ensuring timely delivery, and managing warehouse operations.


Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate the loading of trucks, delivery route planning, and ensuring efficient offloading procedures.Maintain and oversee all documentation and processes related to logistics operations.Supervise the shipping, delivery, and unloading of materials.Manage inventory levels and communicate with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, customs brokers, and other stakeholders.Propose and implement corrective actions to improve logistics efficiency and resolve transport-related problems.Collaborate closely with third-party logistics providers (3PL), carriers, haulers, and packers to ensure cost-effective and efficient logistics operations.Monitor shipments to ensure timely dispatch, especially through transshipment points, while tracking ETD (Estimated Time of Departure) and ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival).Ensure compliance with PEZA, Customs, and other legal requirements, including preparing necessary forms (8106, 8105, CEWE, etc.).File duties, taxes, and PEZA processing fees on time and ensure the proper liquidation of all forms and bonds. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.With 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operationsWith 2 years in a supervisory role.Familiarity with PEZA regulations, Customs processes, and international shipping/documentation standards is essential.Familiarity with 3PL contract negotiation and cost reduction strategies.Knowledge of import/export procedures, forms (e.g., 8105, 8106, CEWE), and government filing requirements.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordination with internal departments, suppliers, and government agencies.Willingness to work in Malvar, Batangas.
