Job Description Qualifications The IT Cybersecurity Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing the organization's cybesecurity strategy to protect it's digital assets and data. This role onvolves managing a team of cybersecurity professional, assessng and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatios and standards.
Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy algned with business goals.Assess emerging threats and adapt strategies accordinglyConduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analysesImplement measures to mitigate identified risksEstblish and enforce security policies, protocols, and best practicesEnsure policies are updated in response to changing regulatory and threat landscapesManage and mentor the cybersecurity team, fostering a culture of security awarenessOversee training programs to enhance staff understanding of security practicesDevelop and maintain an incident response planLead investigations into security incidents and coordinate with law enforcement as neededEnsure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA)Conduct regular audits to assess the effectivenes of security protocolsWork closely with IT, legal, and othr departments to integrate security measuresServe as primary point of contact for cybersecurity issues within the organizationProvide regular updates to senior management on cybersecurity status, risks and incident reportsPreare reports for external stakeholders as necessaryQualifications: Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Computer Science or any related coursesWith at least 10 years of experience in Cybersecurity and at least 3 years of experience as a Manager with direct reportsRelevant ertifications (e.g CISSP, CISM or CEH) is preferredProven experience in cybersecurity management or a similar roleStrong understanding of security frameworks and risk management methodologiesExcellent analyitical, problem-solving and communication skillsExperience with security tools and technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection and systems, etc.)This position is typically requires a combination of office work and remote managementOccassional after-hours work may be necessary to address urgent security issues.
