COMPETENCIES1. Advanced knowledge in measurement interpretation including SI and English conversions for linear dimensions, surface area, volume, radial and angular dimensions.2. Advances knowledge on the use and handling of common measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, dials, gauges, plates including safety precautions and calibration checking.3. Advanced knowledge on material specification, including thermal and chemical treatments such as platings and heat treatment.4.
Advanced knowledge on common machining process for turning, milling, grinding and EDMs.5. Basic ability to view cad files and confirm dimensions from the primary CAD platform of Autocad.6. Proficient in decimals, fractions, ratio and percentage through interpretations, analysis and computation.7.
Advanced skills in interpretation of drawings and details, including standard abbreviations, symbols and notations conforming to the current standards for Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.8. Possesses good problem solving skills and analytical thinking on related quality inspection matters.9. Good inter-personal relations and communication skills with different internal company departments and personnel, for both social and technical conversations and discussions.
QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Completion of one (1) year on any Technical CourseExperience: One (1) year technical work experience
