Description
Objective of the Position:
Work closely with country management and business leaders to
translate business priorities and organization needs into people and HR
initiatives.

Main Areas of Responsibilities:
Act as HR advisor who consults, coaches and challenges business leaders on strategic and critical HR and talent management topics. Build and maintain a relationship as trusted strategic HR partner with key stakeholders in the unit.
Based on unit strategy and relevant HR data, proactively work with business leaders to identify organization needs and provide appropriate HR solutions covering all HR areas including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, learning and development, employee and industrial relations, workforce administration, talent development, HR governance, performance management, change management, mobility, and community relations and branding, etc.
Ensure successful implementation and sustain HR solutions by continuously evaluating impact and iterating.
Counsel business leaders on local labor laws and related statutes, local policies, programs and practices including employee motivation and employee relations topics.
Manage industrial relations to include attending to employee grievance and handling employee discipline cases.
Perform critical administrative functions such as salary administration ensuring timely and accurate timekeeping, payroll payout, statutory benefits payment, and statutory reporting on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis.
Perform business support functions that include HR vendor management; fleet administration; third-party service provider management such as housekeeping, security and messengerial services; and fulfilling of contractual and regulatory obligations such as business permits and license renewal.

Minimum Education and Qualification Required:
Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Economics or related business or social science courses.
With 3-5 years relevant work experience in a multi-national company. Experience in a matrix organization environment is a definite advantage.
Possess a good understanding of all the HR practice areas including local labor laws and related statutes.
Have very strong ability to formulate and understand business issues, situations or problems by breaking them down into smaller parts and analyze them; interpret data and draw conclusions and provide focused guidance.
With strong ability to work with business unit leadership and provide findings to all applicable parties on an as-needed and pre-determined basis.
Possess very good interpersonal communication and personal presentation skills; with high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
Have good organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
Proficient in Windows and MS Office applications with advanced skills in MS Excel.
Demonstrate professionalism and integrity at work.
