Housekeeping Specialist

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping & Linen Services Specialist is responsible for providing support to Housekeeping & Linen Management supervisors in the routine upkeep and sanitation of patient rooms, special areas, offices and other areas of the hospital building; and in the collection, distribution, appropriate handling of linen.

S/He supports the operations of the department by following established protocol, policies and procedures, and is responsible for coordinating with applicable concerned persons / teams in the conduct of her / his duty.

Additionally, s/he stringently observes hospital rules and regulations, infection control standards and performs other duties to ensure the health and safety of the hospital's patients, customers, visitors, staff, and other service providers.

Job Qualifications:

1. A graduate of any four (4) year course OR;

2. Must have completed at least (2) years of College education with one to two (1-2) years of relevant work experience in housekeeping and/or linen management.

3. Preferably with exposure to International Healthcare Accreditation standards.

4. Excellent customer service skills.

5. Knowledgeable in basic Microsoft Office application.

6. Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written. Preferably, can communicate in Visayan and Tagalog language.
