Genset Technician

SCOPE OF WORK OF GENSETFacility and O & M Power technicians must ensure that the specified reading time in the checklist are filled out legibly and religiouslyEnsure that all gauges or measuring instrument are calibrated and in good operating conditionAll engine monitoring checksheet should be accomplished 24 hours a day with one hour reading interval.Power section technicians are responsible in monitoring the performance of the engines. They are also responsible to take hourly reading of the parametersTechnicians should wear the necessary uniform and Personnel Protective Equipment during monitoring activities.In Case abnormalities are monitored, the technician should inform to his immediate superior for immediate countermeasure.Technicians should log all monitored failure occurrences within the day in the operation logbooks for references.Specific Work Assigned1. Operation and Maintenance of Generator Sets and its auxiliaries.2. Handling & Storage of parts, chemicals, lubricants, and fuel used for the section's operation & Maintenance3. Air emission control and Industrial Waste management (within section only)4.
