You will work with a company with more than 30 years of success in business-to-business franchise systems. From its head office and training facility in Florida, it operates with offices in other parts of the U.S., Australia, and the U.K. and has established master licenses in at least 80 countries.
Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science
Strong organizational and project management skills
Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React and Amber
Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP and .Net
Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB
Excellent verbal communication skills
Good problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Duties and Responsibilities:
Developing front end website architecture
Designing user interactions on web pages
Developing back end website applications
Creating servers and databases for functionality
Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones
Ensuring responsiveness of applications
Working alongside graphic designers for web design features
Seeing through a project from conception to finished product
Designing and developing APIs
Meeting both technical and consumer needs
Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
Coding should be compliant with ADA WCAG standards
Implementing essential SEO requirements in terms of the organics of the site
Commenting is required, as is documentation
NLX/ROI Specific Duties
We will need:
Full Stack Developer (front end, back end, and database ninja)
Site language is PHP
Framework is Laravel
Database is mySQL
Ability to work with other developers
Fluent in Version Control – we use Atlassian’s BitBucket
Hosting environment is Heroku
Two environments (dev and production)
Encryption via Blowfish (Bcrypt) and password_hash ()
Stripe API version 2020-03-02
Might recommend the use of Docker for virtualization of the local to make sure the environments match
Logging via Coralogix (an addon via Heroku)
There will be a WAF added to the site, after all the main issues are worked out – We use Expedited WAF via Heroku
And most importantly, be able to follow our Website Development Guidelines.
