We are looking for a Firmware Engineer focused on the industrial sector specialized in embedded development, mainly with C. You will carry out the SW development to ensure the technical and functional feasibility of the products, giving support to the project teams:
Your tasks will include:
Firmware development. Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems. Research, design, and write new software programs. Analyze user requirements. Test new programs and fault finding. Generate the required SW design delivery documents and write technical documentation. Work closely with other staff, such as project managers, HW engineers, ME engineers, designers, developers, systems analysts, and sales and marketing professionals. Cooperate with manufacturing teams in the product industrialization. Manage effectively the product modifications during the development. You are an Embedded Software Engineer with 3 or more years of experience developing firmware with C and other tools like Matlab Simulink. A University Engineering Degree in SW Engineering/Computer Science or Telecommunications is a must. A Team Working mindset, management, and good communication skills are mandatory. We also look for:
Hands-on experience in Python programming. Bash scripting is an asset. Experience with wireless communications, especially WIFI and BLE. Experience with Expressif modules (ESP32, etc.). Previous experience in Real-time design and programming. Knowledge of several communication protocols: I2C, UART, CAN, FlexRay, Profinet, SPI, IO Link. Basic electronics – schematics reading, oscilloscope, multimeter. Experience in development and maintenance of requirements. We are engineering the future
