Description
Objectives of the Position:
To process, analyze, verify and record payable transactions within accounting guidelines and procedures with the objective of ensuring accuracy of data, completeness of documents, and accurate and on-time recording.
To manage the company’s tax accounting by executing all tax and related processes in a compliant, efficient and effective manner. This includes the preparation and filing various tax related items accurately and timely and in accordance to the latest Revenue Regulations/Issuances.Main Areas of Responsibilities:Accounts Payable Management:
Lead, monitor, and review finance and accounting operations in Purchase-To-Pay (P2P) processes to meet timelines.
Maintain compliance of all transactions to company payment policies and procedures (authorization and workflow). This includes maintenance of the approval authority in expense reimbursement system.
Monitor payment systems (e.g. expense reimbursement, Work Cycle, SAP Purchase Order, Vendor Master) and support to resolve system and workflow issues. This comprises processing of payments that urgent cases.
Analyze reports for Accounts Payable key performance indices and take the necessary actions to achieve these.
Develop and maintain reliable Accounts Payable forecasting and status monitoring systems needed in forecasting and budgeting activities.Tax Management:
Prepare and complete all corporate income tax returns including VAT, withholding tax and duties accurately and on time while taking full advantage of all favorable tax codes to maintain the company’s alignment with relevant tax regulatory requirements.
Handle systematic filing of tax returns, retention of books, records and other documentation.
Manage tax audit and communication with tax consultants and various tax authorities.
Support internal and external audits including the preparation of additional requirements and participation in reconciliation process of local internal revenue audit findings/assessments.Project rollout support:
Support rollout, implementation and training of Accounting and Finance projects in the cluster/country.
Identify, recommend and implement measures to improve efficiency or service delivery for local and global projects.
Support change and project initiatives through change management methods and training of users.Local Fraud Prevention Contact
Act as multiplier and carry the topic of payment fraud prevention into the local organization by performing regular awareness session and distributing ad hoc. information in the finance and other appropriate teams
Ensure the communication to all affected parties and to the Regional Fraud Prevention Coordinator and together decide on necessary mitigation measures in cases of fraud attack.Minimum Education and Qualification Required:
Degree in Accounting; Certified Public Accountant.
With 3-5 years relevant work experience in a multi-national/global environment; experience in a shared service environment a plus.
Experienced in SAP Finance module.
Have strong ability to analyze numbers on a broad perspective and in detail and
Possess very good interpersonal communication and personal presentation skills; with high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
Have good organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
Proficient in Windows and MS Office applications with advanced skills in MS Excel.
