The Finance Management Trainee program is a team's direction committed to provide unique opportunities to talented individuals to acquire business acumen and related knowledge through comprehensive training under the supervision of etaily's experienced finance leaders. The program would run in 3 cycles, with 8 months each cycle, covering multiple finance facets: Finance Operations, Accounting, and Financial Planning & Analysis. The ideal candidate must possess the drive to provide insights and recommendations to senior management, with an objective of streamlining and challenging the status quo. The role will include the responsibility to liaise with different team leaders covering the following function:
Job responsibilities: Provide an overall support to the respective team leads in managing and accomplishing their day-to-day tasks, and monitoring of the team's OKRs (Objectives and Key Results)Liaise with department leads in designing and implementing of business continuity plansProvide support as needed, including reporting, data-entry, presentation creation, strategic planning, and project managementPartner with cross-functional teams and relevant external stakeholders in addressing finance operational concerns, and other revenue-related queriesPerform regular reconciliation and evaluation of the Group's revenue streams, with a purpose of identifying and mitigating finance leakages.Support the Accounting Manager in ensuring that internal and external financial reporting reflect fully the results and position of the GroupWork with FP&A Manager in preparing and evaluating multiple financial performance reports and decks, and perform variance analysis vs. the Group's business plan.Assist in building of financial models that would provide insights to the different stakeholdersProvide timely review, feedback, escalation and recommendations within Finance TeamDrive projects on process automation and be a Finance ChampionKey qualifications: A bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or management engineering,Fresh graduate to professionals with at least 2 years of related work experience are encouraged to applyA background in eCommerce, Fintech, SaaS, and other technology-enabled businesses would be a plus.CMA certification a plusProficient Microsoft Office and ability to quickly adapt to new software and toolsSelf-starter and problem-solving attitudeAnalytical, data driven mindsetStrong interpersonal and influencing skillsSuperb English verbal and written communication skills *This role has a HYBRID work setup
