Finance Controller Director

Position Description:
• Key interface between business and finance teams
• Active participation in planning and budgeting exercise to ensure appropriate targets are assigned in line with company growth strategy and in line with management guidance.
• Accountable for producing and validating presentations for executive reviews (Annual Business Plans, Quarterly/ Monthly Operations review, etc.)

Your future duties and responsibilities:
Design and implement key performance indicators to track and review major profit levers/parameters providing early warning signals to all stake holders for corrective action.
• Produces and analyzes a range of Management Information System (MIS) reports gauging various performance metrics of the BU and share insights.
• Manages queries of the business and support in decision making, supports Business Leaders in simulating the impact of various business circumstances to the Financials.
• Tracks variances, explanations and recommend corrective actions.
• Enhances project managers' visibility into financial information and aide in improving their financial prudence & training key stakeholders.
• Ensures Accuracy and timeliness in producing reports and analysis and drives process improvements.
• Advise the Business Units and Corporate Departments (Consolidation, Tax, Treasury, Legal etc.) on their technical accounting questions and provide them with guidance to resolve their accounting challenges on a timely basis.
• Support update of accounting policies in line with IFRS and adapted to CGI's customary business practices.
• Participate in the review of the Notes of the quarterly and year-end financial statements and validate that the notes meet the IFRS disclosure requirements.
• Provide Accounting guidance in line with Management policy and Accounting standards.
• Work in coordination with the Business Units to obtain the relevant information.
• Participate in the consolidated quarterly IFRS tax provision process.
• Review Balance Sheet to assess ageing, to ensure appropriate accounting.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) with 15 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and adequate Tax exposure
• Superior understanding of Financial Analysis and Accounting principles
• Top notch analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with MS Office tools (especially Excel & Powerpoint)
• Good interpersonal skills
