Finance Admin Assistant

As a Finance Admin Assistant, you will report directly to the Senior Accountant. You will also have the support of other members of the Talino and Amihan Finance Team, entrepreneurs-in-residence, and other departments and business leaders. You will be an integral part of our Philippines and United States finance and accounting team, supporting various financial activities and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Your responsibilities will include assisting with general accounting tasks, financial reporting, reconciliations, and providing support to accountants, senior accountants and management as needed. Additionally, you will perform administrative
and liaison tasks, which include, but not limited to, going to banks, BIR, SEC, and other government entities.


Your Core Responsibilities:

Perform daily accounting tasks (such as billing, invoicing, reconciliation) and ensuring that all month-end and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
Ensure that all accounting processes are aligned with Talino and Amihan's
procedures.
Coordination with banks, BIR, SEC, and other external parties to address inquiries, submit and update relevant forms, and to attend to other relevant matters.
Maintain, reconcile, and update financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, and financial statements.
Generate and analyze financial reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Process invoices, verify expenses, and ensure payments are made accurately and on time.
Managing accounts receivable, including invoicing clients and following up on
outstanding payments.
Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process by providing financial data and
analysis.
Monitor budget performance and report any deviations.
Stay updated on relevant accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Support US and PH financial activities of Talino entities and sister companies.
Perform other related functions, as deemed necessary and as agreed by all parties

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Experience in accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping, bank reconciliation,intercompany reconciliation, and closing of books
Experience in filing of taxes and government remittances (preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
